Chalet Les Parts is a privately owned family chalet in Vallorcine, France. This website has been created as an information resource for family members, friends and invited guests who may be visiting the property from time to time.

About the Chalet
Originally built in 1840 and restored in 1999, Chalet Les Parts retains much of its traditional Alpine character. The building began life as a mountain pasture chalet and many of its historic features remain evident today.
Situated above Vallorcine railway station and within walking distance of the village centre, the chalet enjoys a peaceful setting with views across the valley and surrounding mountains.
The chalet provides accommodation for family and guests, with five double bedrooms, including one family room containing a double bed, pull-down single bed and bunk beds. There are two bathrooms, three living areas and additional sleeping accommodation available via a sofa bed when required.
Outside, guests can enjoy the garden, decked balcony, barbecue area and outdoor dining space. The property is surrounded by several traditional Alpine chalets, helping preserve the area's historic mountain atmosphere.
Modern facilities include underfloor heating, wireless internet access, a fully equipped kitchen, private spring water supply and a cedar hot tub.
Access
Access to the chalet is via a footpath of approximately 300 metres from the vicinity of Vallorcine railway station. The walk typically takes between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on weather conditions and luggage.
The Vallorcine cable car is located nearby and can be reached easily from the chalet. The railway station also provides convenient access to the wider
Chamonix Valley
Vallorcine is a quiet mountain village that offers a more relaxed environment than some of the larger resorts in the region. Visitors can enjoy direct access to mountain activities while still benefiting from transport links into Chamonix and neighbouring areas.
Guest Information
Basic pantry items such as sugar, salt, tea, coffee and cooking oil are usually available for guest use.
Guests are encouraged to purchase their main grocery requirements before or shortly after arriving in the valley.
Car hire is not essential as the chalet is located close to the railway station and local transport links.
Wireless internet is available throughout the property.
Due to the chalet's hillside location, access requires a short walk from the nearest vehicle access point.
Activities in the Area
The Vallorcine and Chamonix Valley area offers a wide range of outdoor activities throughout the year.
During the summer months, popular activities include hiking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, canyoning and white-water rafting.
Winter activities include alpine skiing, ski touring, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice climbing and ice skating.
